How can I book the band? Please get in touch via our
contact page, providing us with the date of your event and the name or address of the venue. After confirming our availability and price, we will then reserve your date in our diary. You can secure your booking with a 20% deposit and returning our signed contract. The remaining balance is then due 7 days before the event or in cash on the night before we start playing.
How long does it take you to set up?Depending on access, it usually takes between 60-90 minutes for us to be set up and sound-checked.
What are your usual start and finish times?A standard evening for us is where we aim to arrive by 6pm, be sound-checked and out of the way by 7.30pm. We usually play 2 x 60 or 3 x 40 minute sets starting around 8-9pm and finishing by midnight. Early arrival and later finish times can be arranged but usually incur an additional charge.
How far will you travel? We’re willing to travel all over the country – being based in Nottingham makes this pretty easy!
Are you insured and is your gear PAT tested?Yes, all of our equipment is PAT tested and we carry Public Liability Insurance with us.
Do I need to hire a DJ?That’s entirely up to you but we can play suitable music from our laptop before, between and after our sets as required. Or, if you prefer, you can plug your own laptop or iPod into our PA and use your own playlist.
What do you usually wear?We usually wear smart/casual (jeans and a shirt) but if you prefer a more formal look, we’re always happy to throw our suits on.
Will you learn a song for us?We’re happy to learn a song for you such as a first dance, provided that it’s suitable for our line-up, and that we’re given sufficient time (please allow 3-4 weeks for us to arrange a rehearsal). It’s best to mention this as soon as possible though so that we can discuss your ideas.
Our intended venue has a noise limiter installed – is this OK?Sound (or noise) limiters can be a real problem for most bands and can disrupt the performance if the power is suddenly cut unexpectedly. We’re pleased to offer the option of using electronic drums, which means we can literarily turn everything down to ‘1’, removing the issue of sound limiters altogether. Please mention this during your enquiry though as we like to work with the venue (rather than against them!) to ensure everything goes smoothly on the night.
What clients/venues have you performed for? Some of our past corporate clients and venues include: The Armed Forces, Boots, Broadway Theatre, Center Parcs, DeVere Hotels, The Djanogly Theatre, Land Registry, O2 Empire, Ronnie Scott’s, Royal Mail, Village Hotels, Warner Hotels, Wigan Athletic Football Club, and even the Serbian Royal Family …plus many many more!
Can I see you live? Most of our gigs are private functions, which can make it difficult to invite you along to. However, we take great pride in what we do and would welcome you to any public gigs that we have. Please check out our
gigs page or give us a like on
Facebook to stay up-to-date with any upcoming gigs or drop us an email to see if we’re playing near you. Our recordings give a good indication of how the band sounds and many clients have told us that we sound even better live!
